Today I tried with Diagbox 7.57. Results are probably the same as with newer version of software.
Global test:
ECUS present:

Customer personalisation:
I do not put screenshots from: Maintenance, Lightning-signalling, Driver information, Washing and wiping, Protection-accesses-mechanical assistance. The options seem to be completely irrelevant.
Things get a bit more interesting when I enter "Display and printing of all the configuration parameters".
Inside I can display sections named the same as previously but, with some different or rather additional options.
Driving assistance:
Driving comfort: -> here finally missing "Navigation audio system (RNEG)"
Engine:
Driver information:
Miscellaneous:
The problem is that inside "Display and printing of all the configuration parameters" there is no option to change anything. Only displaying.
Moreover, I have noticed that instead entering configuration I can go to pack repair:
Replacement parts:
Configuration:
And here the situation repeats as if I have entered configuration as previously:
I can enter configuration menus but with missing RNEG or go to "Display and printing of all the configuration parameters" and find the "read only" RNEG.
Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Maybe missing RNEG will appear after I change/disable something? However, these configs does not look like something that changes according to some selections but of course it is only my observation.

Re: RNEG - trip computer
Ok, so all the above are just showing what is set and as you can see the RD4 is set to present which is causing the issue.
In order to configure any of these options, you must go into the BSI itself to configure anything.
In order to configure any of these options, you must go into the BSI itself to configure anything.
- Hook up Diagbox, switch on ignition and allow it to identify the vehicle.
- Select Fault Finding and complete the Global Test.
- Allow the test to complete fully, then scroll right to the top and select BSI.
- Press the green tick bottom right of screen to confirm selection.
- Follow any instructions to switch the ignition off / on as required.
- From the next menu, slect Repair.
- Next select Configuration.
- Then choose Manual Configuration.
No I can't advise where to go from here as it you have a different vehicle and I don't have the specific BSI page for your Picasso. But looking at your previous screenshots, you should be able to work out what section the RD4 setting was located in.
When you locate the RD4, press the green tick to confirm, this will take you into the options and then you can set it to absent. You will be returned to the previous menu, and only then press the cog wheel button. This should now show the RD4 as absent. You can then back out to the top menu and exit.
You may need to go back in again and look for the option that shows the options you had before for the telematics unit and select the correct RADIONAV_RNEG option the same way.
Only once you have the RADIONAV_RNEG enabled and the RD4 Absent can you check to see if things are working correctly.
Let me know then how you get on.

Re: RNEG - trip computer
Today I tried to set RNEG as you described. There was no strict RNEG setting in ECUS present and driving comfort. However, changed these settings:
In ECUS present:
Telematic unit or Radio Navigation to present
Radio to absent
In driving comfort:
Presence of telematic unit or radio navigation to yes
Audio equipment (RD4) to no
After these changes when I enter "Display and printing of all the configuration parameters", I can see that in ECUS present: and this in driving comfort. So it looks much better. However, still nothing has changed when it comes to trip computer.
On the global test there is still ECU not recognized for Telematics. However, Radio is marked as not present and not as no communication. I also tried to set this in in driving comfort but also without any effect.
Division of data between the telematics and the multifunction screen. to yes

Re: RNEG - trip computer
This is where I can't help you, as I don't have access to your BSI data configuration for this vehicle.
I would leave changing anything else for the moment or put it back as it was (the Division of Data), to as not to make it harder to work out. Obviously this has made a difference, but the issue is going to be that until the RNEG ECU has communication, you can't set further parameters for it - do you understand?
I'll send you Private Message shortly.
