Re: C4 Heater/AC not working
8080 is the Air Conditioning / Climate Control ECU. It has control of all the climate functions. MC46 is the earthing point of the harness on the inside door sill of the Left hand side (Driver's on LHD vehicles).

Re: C4 Heater/AC not working
Thank you again Marc!
I am gonna try and fault find with a multi meter and check for continuity. I also noted like in the DS4 post that i got a spark when the metal part of the resistor touched the car chassis- but my fan was not attached to k ow if it kicked in or not
In order to check the earth connection - i need to know where connector 10PR/59 CLM is.

59 CLM is the heating system harness:

Re: C4 Heater/AC not working
So managed to solve the blower issue but now have new issue
So the problem was the 10PR/59 CLM connector( see pictures) the earth wire had melted the connector not making full contact chasing a lack of earth to the blower control module.
Now have new error on diagbox.....
Code P1AA2- voltage retaining device
Also get message saying ECO deactivated on the screen everytime I start the car.

Re: C4 Heater/AC not working
No problems - glad you found the fault.
As for that P1AA2 code - that's to do with the Voltage Retention Device - in other words, the Stop Start system has temporarily been disabled as the battery is below a certain threshold (76% on a Euro 5 vehicle and 78% on a Euro 6 vehicle). Not surprising if you think about it - with all the other issues you have been having - the battery has likely fallen below the required threshold for the Stop Start system to operate. So you will manually need to start the vehicle now using the ignition until the battery has been charged up.

Re: C4 Heater/AC not working
On Monday, September 14th I was presented with the same defect described by user daran. After having checked all the fuses of all the control units (I'm scrupulous), I checked the voltage coming from the battery at the connection point of the resistor. 8 Volts ... Consequently I checked the ground continuity and 12 volts coming from the battery .. The problem as daran found is the 10PR / 59 CLM connector, which is attached to the structure that supports the BSI.
Thanks
Thanks

Greetings from Athens (Greece).
Today i faced the same problem (as daren and krakatoa) on my C4 (B7). Can you tell me the location of the 10PR / 59 CLM connector?
Thank you i advance.

Re: C4 Heater/AC not working
Hello everyone, I have a c4 b7 1.6 e hdi and the blower stopped working a few days ago, I checked everything fuse F10, 10PR/59 CLM plug and everything is fine.
When connected directly to the battery, the blower works.
Please help because I don't know what to do next

Re: C4 Heater/AC not working
I have a C4 2013 RHD, normal controls, no fancy stuff. I had problems with the blower in the summer, sometimes working and then not and finally it gave up, AC led still coming on. If you are like me and tend to leave things until winter to get on your hands and knees and take glove box, side panels etc out when your fingers have decided to feel nothing and then trying to turn yourself upside down to get to what you want to get too. Checked all fuses, took out the fan motor after a right old farting about (motor turns freely and applied 12v and it works). Turns out it was the connector with the large earth wire and black wire had started to melt and making no contact. I have to ask why it would do this, bad design specs!

Re: C4 Heater/AC not working
For me, the plugs look like new, everything works except the blower, I ordered a new resistor for the heating blower, I will let you know when I install it.
