1,Guy that did the clutch on our manual one had to tack weld the nuts to the body to get them out) -
2,Although no way would I buy a S/H one!).
3,Trouble is if the clutch bearing is done, then most likely the clutch (and flywheel) is too
4,And then you need a LEXIA to make it work again - and this is where the real trouble starts. Once they have lost the plot it seems a lottery as to whether they will work again; my mate had the box replaced on his, then ended up replacing the whole actuator, but it was never happy, and threw in the towel after only a few k miles and he couldn't get it to re-program so had to scrap it.
5,Don't want to put you off trying, but just want you to be going in with your eyes open!!
1, always looking for an excuse to get the welder out
2, Agree if you have gone to this extent!!
3, As above, was kind of thinking ha, no DMF, but you think the flywheel also?
4, As in the £40 thing from fleabay? I take it it's a case of reactivating the sensors and re-positioning the actuators, i bet bleeding it is possibly what causes a lot of trouble?
5, I really appreciate the time and effort you guys put into your posts, thanks
