Geez - & I thought I was the cynic of the group!
As for those blanking caps, exactly the sort of thing I'd continue collecting, no matter how many I'd inherited, BUT I'm not a serial purchaser of plumbing fittings & don't recall seeing such a thing, not even among all the debris left in the back of the C15 by the previous owner - a plumber!
Broken dipstick

My dipstick cracked 10cm up from bottom plastic.
I used streight wire to measure the length needed on new dipstick. I sticked it straight in tube to verify if it goes all the way. Then at the end I made just one hook parallel to wire. I pushed the wire all the way in gently and then turning it clockwise when pulling it out slowly. It came out in few tries.
Suggestion is to keep new dipstick in boot and use it only when engine cold, check level of oil and put it back in boot. Old cap use as cover
