Halleluiah to my car being ready - just off to pick it up - just in time to as this Juke has developed a passenger seat rattle! Every bump the head rest and seat back rocks, rattles and rolls!
Anyway, turns out that the new wheel arch trim they ordered from France arrived damaged! So another is on back order 7-10 days so will pop back to get that fitted later, but for now, just glad to have my car back and return this awful Juke. I just hope the bodywork is all up to scratch - not!

I take it you are not going to ask them to keep yours in exchange for the lovely Juke then?

Absolutely not!
I’m sat here at my dealers since collecting my car from the repairers - seems they’ve buggered up my mirrors as in - one folds back but won’t adjust and the other adjusts but won’t fold back!
So called my dealer as I was in the area and now sitting in the Cafe Andre :
Turns out the wiring plug had been dislodged (can't think why....) but all now working again.

Went to get my booster jab yesterday - feeling rough last night and today as a result. They changed the vaccine to Moderna this time after previously having 2 shots of the OAZ. Had to queue for 2 hours in the field where they were using a showground arena. Inside were 4 lines of 4 vehicles and a troop of staff whizzing around with the jab trolleys giving you a dose in your right arm in-vehicle.
In the distance you can just see the queues and the same behind me. These carry on past the arena.
Anyway we still had to wait 10 mins after the jab and you can't go anywhere until the first car in each lane drives off. Turns out yesterday some bloke was jabbed and feinted at the wheel exiting the arena and drove into the brick wall!
Anyway,. whist I was out I rang the accident repair centre to see if my rear wheel arch trim had finally come in. This was the fourth one from Citroen that they had ordered that was on back order 7-10 days. Each one prior to this had scuff marks on and was worse than the trim from the accident. It's all now fitted on and that completes my repair. A tidy job in all, very pleased.

How Much?

Had my booster a few weeks ago. Arrived there early, had a ten minute wait, done in no time. Sat in reception for fifteen minutes then had a wander around the shops for half an hour.
No side/after effects whatsoever. They didn't say what kind it was.

My jab problem is for the flu jab, I've been in three times to the GP, told to come back in a week on the first two occasions and last time told to leave if for a month or more because they're concentrating on the Covid booster and not the flu, no appointments available.
This morning I got a letter from the NHS urging me to get my flu jab.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Had my 'flujab a fortnight before the booster. Text from NHS site, book online at doctors, jab three days later. Big queue for that, half hour wait. Done quickly, no side/after effects for that either.
It has all been very well managed and there have been no problems at all other than me taking hours to walk home after the first one, not connected with the jab though.

Re: Marc's C3 Aircross SUV, Rants Raves & Everything Else
As I am on an immune suppressant I was able to get my third vaccination (NOT a booster) within 6 months of my second vaccination. Because of that medication I have to have regular (3 months) blood tests, and was able to get the 'flu jab at the same time. I did get 'pinged' on Saturday, but I did a lateral flow test that day (negative), ordered and received the PCR test (it arrived on the Sunday), did another LF test on the Monday (negative again), and got the PCR test results on Wednesday (still negative).
