Not sure about a 'Sandan' or 'Shodan' - maybe a 'Exasperated Dan' though!

Wow, I didn't even notice that Neil - I'm building a database for fault codes at present and just noticing how many annoying features MS have built into their software that serve absolutely no purpose other than to create three times the work!

Your 10,000th post was fittingly as ever providing assistance to others, but a bit self-indulgent photography of the Golden Hornet next to the Devil's Bridge AA Box would also have been good! When you hit 11,000 or maybe 11,111 treat yourself to that road trip!

A Road Trip is definitely good for oneself and the car. After a 150mile round trip, my 405's tickover is back up where it should be at 900rpm approx'. It had been idling less than smoothly at about 750rpm; possibly too much supermarket fuel....

...either that or whatever the aftermarket Sat-Nav's been on, I think a drunken Chimpanzee might have more luck finding a location.

NB: anyone know whether 95c (going up a particularly large hill near Gloucester) is hot enough for 'full pelt rad fans' on the 405 XUD9? I paused & gave it a moment or two while standard speed brought the temp down to something more sensible (heavy right boot is obligatory up there).

More than a bit damp Neil, rain hasn't stopped here (near the border) since Thursday night, going to Chepstow for lunch today, sunny periods forecast but no sign of that yet.

That's the old Wye Bridge Neil, single track with traffic light control, I won't be using it today, there's a by-pass on my route. :)

Will be calling here for a coffee and cake later and to watch some of the goings on. http://www.ndac.co.uk/

If you’re referring to my post regarding Dryweryn, I’m talking about the memorial stone, not the location. I’ve driven past it for the last 20 years every other day on the way to Aber!

Recent findings....

Aston Martin are to build the worlds ugliest SUV in Wales

and

On a link from Jim's POTD of an ALLEN engine I discover that in West Wales there is

The 'Internal Fire' Museum of Power is at Tan-y-groes, Ceredigion. SA43 2JS. Which has several exhibits from ALLEN including this..
