Try searching on the replacement part - as this supersedes the original: 9807028780
Not sure what you are looking to pay - but for reference these are brand new from Citroen for £216.79 inclusive. They aren't exactly cheap second hand either, with this £129 used!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-Citr ... 2957377499

A load here too - cheaper:

At the end of the day Rich - this is what the proper replacement part number is. Ignore what the chap says about beginning '96', there are plenty of 9807028780 about and if you went to Citroen to pay for the job, that is what they would order and fit. :-D

Marc, you misunderstand me mate, the first link you posted, the eBay one, is my local pug Citroen breaker, when I first found out what the problem was, this firm were the ones that told me the part number began with 96. I didn’t mean you gave me a link that began 96. Lol Hope that clarifies things :-D :-DI will continue my search for a used one, as at that price, I may as well pay the extra 65 and buy new. The garage I bought the van from, said they can order me one for 10% discount on the retail price.
Cheers Rich

That's ok, I thought I was losing the plot (again). Yes, that makes sense, at least you know it's brand new and the second hand one cold be on its last legs anyway, saving you having to do the job again.:-D

What a pain in the arse that job was. If I.d owned a stumpy torx driver, it would have been easy. Two torx screws and one nut, and 5 connectors to remove, the bottpm screw was impossible to get to without the stumpy tool, so O had to remove the headlight, which was also a pita. Ended up disconnecting half the inner bumper, and riving the headlight out. Realistically speaking the bumper should have come off, and the head light.
