I followed one from the Penshaw monument - A183 - to the Tees flyover - A19 - yesterday and they drove perfectly sensibly all the way. Pleasant surprise.
It was Range Rovers, Quashquais and Jaguars that were the noticeable offenders, along with the expected BMWs

Well the prize yesterday goes to the Toyota that came off the slip road behind me (I'd pulled over to allow him to) & entered the middle lane, as I pulled back into the inside lane - but made no attempt to pass AND when I looked in the mirror as I came up behind another car in the inside lane he was still there, although the road was otherwise empty, & there he stayed the whole time he was still in sight. =D>

On the other hand an A4 had the good grace to let me pass &, almost by definition, they HATE being behind a C15, never mind being passed by one. :-D

Here's one that definitely doesn't fit the thread title. Not an SUV so can't be plonked in that thread.

I had just watched her new Rolls video, another ugly heap.

She can be a bit hard to take but that thing is an absolute disgrace.
I don't like any of the DS range, nor the Cactus but that heap really takes the cake.

Sounds like a Tonka toy and seems very flimsy, doors are dreadful.

Four circles in the rearview mirror present a now widely understood warning
I regularly get them tailgating me on the 'bike, often on the motorway. It's particularly frustrating. I *very* occasionally play (embarrass) them. They don't like it up 'em! Especially not by a fat man on a 25 year old Kawasaki..

I've had a couple of Audis myself. Lovely cars, especially the interiors. The issue is that they're often driven by knob-heads! I'm certainly not claiming all Audi drivers are. For me, it seems any Male in a sporty Audi wants to race me.

Bloody pointless! My bike does 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and a standing 1/4 in 10, at terminal speed of 137mph. There's not an Audi .. or much else road-legal that can keep up :)

Our XM 2.5 can leave a good few circles standing, especially when it comes to winding clear-view curves. The level road-holding and torque of that French engine is extraordinary.
Not something I make a habit of, but when some idiot is glued to your back bumper, at the legal limit, and with no possibility of overtaking safely, there are two options: slow down, or leave the clot behind.

So many of their drivers are 20-something male, and driving in the 'deck chair' position - laid back and just visible above the steering wheel. An Advanced Driving Instructor would put them through the shredder. An Examiner would issue a fail. Traffic Police would issue a fine and points. Where are these fine folk when you really need them?

Well I took a picture or 2 of a modern car this morning.

My thought process.......thats a nice colour, its a citroen, looks like a nice sort of size, not too big, not too small, its got a decent tail gate, probably plenty of space for the dog, bit of protective plastic down and I bet those back seats fold down to get a few bags of sand and cement bricks and roofing felt in. Its got roof bars too :-D

So what was it?
Spoiler: show
did you get it?<br />NF own work

well this did stir something the other day.....and did stand out from the crowd in Morrisons car park the other day.

In fact I would rate it as the second best looking car in the car park on that day. There were only 2 cars that were remotely interesting that Lexus and my Leaf..... :-D
