Thats 135,196 miles since the autiobox rebuild (AF40, AM6, AWTF-80 SC or whatever you want to call it!) and its still on the same ATF from the communal VAT at the transmission specialist!

Excellent stuff, I think in acknowledgement of the extra snippet of information re the location which has an excellent name which I do like, I'll go and have a consult with Geograph and see if there is a random image of "Flash" to put up on POTD!

lol, brilliant Neil. No, you seem to have got the right 'Flash'. I don't recall the pub, but it was over 10 years ago I was there.

Don't think I ever bothered to sort out why the 309 ticked over at a rather racey 1100rpm, or if the mileage was genuine; general condition of the car suggested it was.

I had to take my company van in for her MoT, and on the way, seeing it would happen, I got this. Unfortunately it was NOT a good picture, but the mileage was 88888.
