Ever wondered what an Austin LS Magenta looks like :?: A loose-end from the Open Top Motoring thread
( viewtopic.php?p=745996#p745996 ) when it had its FCF February Ferret 2023 random selection day on February 20th.

It's February 26th 2023 Significant Mileage thread reading...
to my eyes this is from the prettiest little coupe in the sale with its digits on display.

Keep watching those mile-o-meters, and use the thread to post up the "moments".

To close on the FCF February Ferret Selection day special, the Leaf clicked over to this number by the end of the day.
Enough Spring flowers around now even though Winter's not quite over this Sunday February 26th 2023.

Minor bit of number-noticing which has just occurred.

No prizes for guessing the one I missed on the 28 miles way to work
IMG_20230413_070348990_HDR.jpg
Spoiler: show
though I missed 144,444 miles, I did glance down and spot 144,441 which it hadn't occurred to me until I saw it! Middle of the roadworks on the M6 will be where the ...44 went by

Sorry, Yes that was my aim, but missed it in the traffic on the M6, no chance of a picture as in the car on my own.

144458 maybe 144456? or something equally unremarkable since I got to the office. 145678, or 145541 is probably next pattern on the cards to try and spot.

I forgot about a random picture associated with the mileage, Google says:
144458...
144458...
Or if it's 144456 then:
144456
144456
A nice but slight drab blue.

Am somewhat disappointed the thermo nuclear device cap isn't the same blue! :-D

Occasionally I have to get SWMBO's Celerio out of the garage in the mornings to give me workshop space. Today was one such occasion and as I took it out I noticed her current mileage which was 8 short of a magic point. So I borrowed her car to pop down to the charity warehouse and on the way back I stopped to take this picture:
Memorable miles
Memorable miles
It was unfortunate that it was not a degree warmer but a little manipulation when I got home produced this: :-D

But I guess that is cheating!! :-D

However my trip to the warehouse brought another surprise which I will post elsewhere!!

Almost symmetrical, but not
Almost symmetrical, but not
Obviously I will next pass 150505 but likelihood of me actually remembering at appropriate moment? Slim to nil really!
After that think really 151515 is next noteworthy spot.

Just realised I sailed past 150051 (later the same day after my earlier images)

The 789 on the trip computer (next to 123456 on odometer) is two lots of organisation: remembering to reset the trip at 122667 AND then to take an image when the sequence was on screen as pictured, = way more organised than I!
