ARE ALL TIMING BELTS,W/PUMP KITS CREATED EQUAL ?

Timmo,as you may know,the interval is 150 k or 10 yrs, which would indeed indicate belts are better than they were,but yes,my belt is almost 11 yrs old ,so very pleased to report it should be done on Friday ..Phew !!

i spoke to a local independent Citroen specialist today.He said if i had the 2.0 hdi engine,he wouldn't have worried about the 101k 11 yr old belt,but the 1.6 belts are 'not the best' as he put it. Thought i'd pass those comments on to you all ..so is he right ?
