E COAST Mainline 7/ Bridge 86.

Regards Neil

Sorry to nit-pick, but according to what was previously written on the bridge, it's Bridge 86 / ECM7 - and NOT - ECM7 / Bridge 86. These things matter

Depends which side of the Bridge you are on :-D The North Side is obviously more accurate than the South, Engineer's Line Reference first then the bridge number.

Dead easy to Google, so don't bother, but 'top of the head'...

"Elstree, remember me
I had a part in a B-movie
I played a man from History
Elstree, look at me
Now I work for the BBC
Life is not what it used to be "

are lyrics from which song and by whom ? :)

I think I should have been more specific when I said don't bother Googling it.... I should have added DDG'ing it as well

I think that gives plenty of information on the "original" from Athens and interestingly links to the monument at Shugborough estate which is based on, but not a replica of of that monument.

Shugborough Lanthorn of Demosthenes (geograph 1979800)

Adjacent but not the answer on the card, but not sure if you have worked out the location and the bold phrase in simple english on the monument in the picture. The location is not Athens or Shugborough.
