The 'get out clause' for the producers might be that the local permanent way bods refer to the Forth Bridge as 'The Bridge', and so that is good enough for the story.

Barrs might refer to it as the Irn-Bru Bridge "Made in Scotland from Girders!"

AFAIK Michael Portillo was told that The Forth Bridge was the only un-numbered bridge on the whole UK rail network, and was recorded as The Bridge. That tells me that ths was not a local thing.

Never seen that before but did used to consume much black velvet - Guinness and Cider. Until I was 18 then it lost it's fascination.

Brewed in Luton now, but still has the lactose in the recipe preserving its "Milk Stout" credentials but originally from Hythe in Kent and at that time the oldest Brewery in the Country

AB InBev UK Limited,
Luton,

I'm going to run after posting this video, my nomination for the worst video so far featured on the FCF, (unless of course you know different!) :-D

It amazing that it comes up near the top in a search on youtube for "Mackeson Advert". Excruciating presentation :-D

Just to get a bit of quizzing into an excuse to put up an amusing series of Beer Adverts....
Who plays Arkwrights wife in this series of clips (she is not in every one) . :?:
and a supplementary where is this bridge :?: (it appears many times in the clips, and if you locate that you could maybe find the "Three Ferrets" too?)

The clips start off slow starts off slow but by the time they gets to "Arkwrights new dog" definitely chuckle material for me.
