A Tale of Two Halves
Falcon 2 Heardle 5
Original (11 secs) 80's (12 secs)
Match analysis
Same story, All even with the regulars, then from 90 heardle pulls away.
Falcon did enjoy the 80's track, and the 90's was quite topical seeing as ABBA songs were on autoplay this morning! (no spoiler it wasnt ABBA!)

Pickled Egg Traditional Quiz Questions of the day

Banknote trivia five of the best (research welcomed probably not a top of the head thing.)
Can't remember the last time I had banknotes in my possession although saying that I briefly had a £5 note in my hand on Saturday obtained from a nearby purse to pay for the catalogue that allowed entry to the Auction.
1. Who is the current Chief Cashier :?: , her signature appears on all currently issued banknotes. The chief Cashier changes from time to time, last change was on 1st June 2018 so the banknotes in your pocket may have a previous name on them.
2. What happens to the red Quill in the see-through window when tilted on a current £10 note when tilted :?:
3. What are the 4 denominations of the Current Bank Notes in Circulation, and a.b.c. and d Who are the featured persons on the rear. :?:

4. The ten bob note series C 12th October 1961 to 22nd November 1970. What was unique about it in the history of 10-bob notes :?:

Image

5. The five pound note Series B first issued 21st February 1957 Withdrawn 27th June 1967. What was the image blanked out :?:

And an additional one from me 'cos I happened to look it up a few weeks ago :)

Question 6. What is the ship on the reverse of the £20 note, and why could the original painting best be described as an 'Artists Impression' ?

I can only join in on Number 6, first bit TOH rest looked up
Spoiler: show
His most "famous work" would be the HMS Temeraire getting unceremoniously towed to be broken up so that is most likely the painting on the back of the note

Had to look up the artistic licence bit but the setting sun is in the wrong position, and the masts and rigging were removed before being towed by 2 tug boats up the Thames to Rotherhide.

Had to research this one:
Spoiler: show
It is HMS Temeraire as depicted by Turner in his painting The Fighting Temeraire - hence the artist's impression!!

Correct on the ship, but there's a bit more to the answer than that, Mick. :) There are various inaccuracies in his original painting - any one of them will do for an answer, though Neil has got it :)

I know Bobins has from his answers, but for question 7
7. Does anyone have a banknote to to even look at these features on the current notes. :?: If anyone has an Ultra Violet light some other features are revealed, as does a bit of tactile feeling of the raised relief bits.

And, for a bit of light relief, the reverse of the £20 is used as proof by conspiracy theorists who say that COVID19 is being spread by the 5G mobile phone networks. The hologram is a radio mast, while the strange symbol above it is (according to them) a representation of the COVID particle!

Just had a look using an UV LED and can't see anything.
Will cobble an array of them in the morning sometime and see if that is any better.
Only looked at a tenner.

Gives the Illuminati a bit of well-deserved peace.
