Pretty much the same here.

Original: No chance.
Sixties: Three seconds.
Seventies: Right song, wrong singer.
Eighties: :( Was never going to get that.
Nineties: Or that.
00s: Or this.
New 00s. This either.

This may not be our forté,

I was listening to my phone, through a hifi, and although I 'knew' everything on there and have listened many times, there were lots I couldn't name until they were halfway through, some I didn't get at all and I put them all there.
A lot of the stuff on Heardle is completely new to me though, even well known stuff like - oops, better not say - that I never bothered with.

Result
Falcon 3 Heardle 4
60's (17 secs); 70's (12 secs); 80's (12 secs)

Decent lead pegged back by heardle with some ungettables for me 90's onwards.

Regards Neil

Is the random reward of a few sixties successes enough to keep going :?: :-D Still gets played most days at Chez Falcon so it's held my participation longer than the wordles, worldles and the nerdles.

My sweet spot tails off after the 80's, but I surprise myself at how recognisable the 60's tracks still are.
Occasionally I'll get the nineties, and the 2000's are just decent guesses but mostly haven't a clue.

They never seem to play anything that I listened to in the eighties/nineties/00s.
Seventies I was out of the country and missed most of the stuff that was going on at the time.

I still play the rest of the rdles daily and I am currently on a run of 44 on wordle. The Worldle does add to my already reasonable knowledge of world geography which makes it interesting enough. The nerdles I treat the same, ignoring the timed aspect, but just as mental exercises the first thing in the day. If anything the heardles are the least attractive to me but they do add a bit more time to my morning brain awakening!! :-D

Original: Clueless.
60's: Recognised but unable to name it, wrong band too :( 0/10
70's: Got it but took a while.
80's: Unknown.
90s: Nope. Good luck getting that in two seconds.
00's: Would never get that, although I have the album in my Amazon library.
Alt 00's: Nope and just as well.

Result
Falcon 3 Heardle 4
60's (2 secs); 70's (2 secs) one of Rick Beato's all-time great intros; alt 00's (11 secs) a familiar song which gets sung in the car as it's on a playlist of 00's tunes.

Came very close to snatching the winner, but chose one of the two unfamiliar songs on the list for the artist, and it turned out it was the other one. Earned the pen kick, but put it wide of the post.

I failed on my favoured 60s today, recognised the song after 8secs but no idea for the artist.
However made up for it with an amazing 3secs guess on the 70s which was right and a blinding 1sec on the original which will be a banker for all our players. :-D

Result
Falcon 4 Heardle 3
Original 1 (sec); 60's (17 secs (thanks Soft Cell wouldn't have got it otherwise)); 70's (5 secs); 80's (12 secs)

Raced into an unassailable 4-0 lead on the regulars, but Heardle came back and did avoid a drubbing with the 90's onwards.

I needed the vocal to get today's 60s so it took 15 secs to know it. Not concerned though as I've never been a fan!
As for the rest, I know as much about Arctic Penguins as I did about them! :-D

Original: No.
60s: 13"
70s: No. Thought I had it at five seconds. Wrong.
80s: Not in a million years.
90s: Not in two million years.
00s: Not in three million years.
Alt 00s: No. Don't like them at all.
