Not a clue.

Wouldn't have known the Pony thing either, never go into pubs.

Hadn't tried that. Took a while although I recognised the noise but not who was responsible for it for a few minutes.
My niece used to live next door to her, old misery that she was.

A new day dawns and Original Heardle moves on.

Easy enough when the rat-a-tat of the drums is joined by the ensemble. 4 Seconds for me, when the musical phrase came in associated with the title words.

I dont expect any fails from the FCF faithful so no clues. You even get a bit of singing within the 16.

2 seconds on the 60's here too.

Surely both you and Steve got todays original heardle. Could an artist have sold any more "records"?

No. Vaguely familiar but I never liked him, especially the contrived 'dancing'.

With one exception:
Spoiler: show
Bought the album just for that.

Days almost done and I have only just done the Original Heardle for Sunday.

11 seconds.....not bad for an artist and a title I didn't know, no googling either. That's where the guess bar comes in.
I always thought the lyric was Groovers in the House...it isn't but it was close enough to get me the option up for the right answer.

I expect fails all round from the FCF faithful :-D .

Monday's Original Heardle

2 seconds recognition and knowing the track, but who did it and what was it called :?: Knew the key word of the lyrics its repeated enough! even more times than ABBA, and hugely more times than Pink Floyd used it.

I was a little surprised for some reason the track seems more contemporary than a 1973 release.

No need to with those clues, but I do expect fails all round from the FCF faithful :-D .

The Heardledecades site is here if you want to choose your decade. I'm still having a decent run on the Original Heardle and find it challenging enough at times to enjoy playing.

Knew the tune in 2, but not a one I could put a name to without using the guess bar to bring up the artist's songs on a list I could select from :-D Then pressed skip instead of submit so I'll accept a 3 second effort for that one.

No hope on the Sunday one. My excuse is I was only in the UK for three days that year, to get married. The Monday one is the same noise.

60's heardle, https://www.60s.heardledecades.com/
faff about with an overlong melody-unrelated intro, only saved by the unmistakeable female voice when it came in so got it in the penultimate time slot :-D

70's heardle, https://www.70s.heardledecades.com/
you have got to be joking totally obscure track that never got any airplay albeit by a a recognisable band.

80's heardle https://heardle80s.com/
A very well known band doing a reasonable impression of Kraftwerk....er before the singing started...12 seconds

Back to the refuge of Tuesday's Original Heardle

Anthemic, unmistakeable intro, 1 second required, back to virtuoso status.
