Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Was a very similar 1% question to the last time I watched it. FEIR? Recurring theme in the 1% question maybe?

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
As Tom O'Connor and/or Lionel Blair nearly said in the TV quiz - 'Name That Tool'
Dominic Chinea - he of BBC's The Repair Shop - has a book out in October about hand tools. He's just done a Youtube about it and jokingly said about the cover : "If you can't tell what these tools are and what they're used for, then you need this book"
So.... as specifically as possible - what are they and what are they for ?

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Also TOH I would agree with Neil on 10 of them but differ in 2:
No 2 A perforating wheel
No 9 wire strippers
No 2 A perforating wheel
No 9 wire strippers

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
I don't have the definitive answers, but I think No.2 is a Pounce Wheel - used for signwriting. Not sure that No.4 is a centre punch or that No.5 is a plumb bob.... but I don't have any better answers

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Today, and yesterday 16 seconds job but got them both.
Heardle
Had to wait for Bob to start his vocals, before "Like a rolling Stone" became recognisable yesterday, and had to go back to car radio days from 1999, and a pick the right boy band, pick the right song for todays poser.
Clue...Fannie Hurst's Novel may help lead you to the right answer, so good they made it into a film 3 times

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
I missed doing the dles altogether yesterday due to our day out so not only did I miss the chance of another 'no idea', I also inadvertantly ended my wordle string at 71! Frustrating as I hadn't realised that missing altogether counts as a fail! I have begun my new string of 1 this morning
At least I can also confirm yet another 'no chance' for today's heardle!!

Two seconds yesterday, unmistakable.
No chance today, sounds like one of the atrocious boy bands.
