Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Well found indeed, I guess that was a bit tricky but at least it passed the time as intended Ironically the remaining answer is the one which gave me the idea of writing the quiz in the first place! However once you see who it is you will not need to check the credentials at all! A final clue is that I posted the video myself and didn't know the champion was on it until I watched it!! I posted it in memory of someone else!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
He was an exceptional man.
I did meet the bloke he laid out, who bore no resentment. Henry Cooper. Another great bloke.
This may seem contradictory - I was working at the time, it was my job to photograph him.

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Excellent, well done Neil 40 points in all, and 10 points to Bobins. Hopefully you agree that he was a rather special World Champion worthy of a place on the FCF!!
And Steve we've found you out now, you have had some involvement with sport, unless it was for a Brut advert?
Well I hope you have enjoyed the quiz, it certainly helped my day go by and I haven't even been doing it!!

fortunately not Brut
Cooper Tools.
There are videos of Ali and Jackie together on his charity 'fight nights' and they seem very fond of one another - she was only ten at the time but a very astute kid.

Sorry Andy for not answering your post, I missed it I'm afraid in the glut of posts at the time!. Yes I imagine they are the same on the Xantia but the photo was from a thread concerning the 405.

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
What do Cardiff, Doncaster, Edinburgh, Gravesend, London, Rainham, Redhill and Stockport have in common? Leeds is apparently going to join them this year.

That's going to have to be a research job for me,Hell Razor5543 wrote: ↑12 May 2020, 21:02 What do London, Cardiff, Doncaster, Edinburgh and Rainham have in common?
London/Doncaster/Edinburgh that's the east coast main line for me , or maybe in the past a "Coaching Route"
London/Cardiff could be the same
But much to my shame without looking it up I have no idea where Rainham is, or what it is famous notorious for.
If I had to guess, first guess would be Essex, second guess Surrey but really no idea so its off to google!

Fair enough James Quite familiar with Stockport and Leeds, Redhill and Gravesend ….Surrey and Essex if I'm not mistaken. Turns out of course Gravesend is in Kent! but close enough with the rest!Hell Razor5543 wrote: ↑12 May 2020, 21:02 What do Cardiff, Doncaster, Edinburgh, Gravesend, London, Rainham, Redhill and Stockport have in common? 50 points to Mick!

I only found out about it on The Architecture the Railways Built (on the Yesterday Channel), where there was mention of the Platform 0 at Kings Cross Station.

Beat me to it Mick while I was having a geography lesson. The additional places did help the google search.
