Maybe a search for "cairn on hill in Fife" might come up trumps :-D

Well I didnt have much luck with "cairn on hill in Fife", until you helpfully pointed out it wasn't in Fife! Now that left a cairn most likely somewhere in Scotland....bit too wide a search, so I went for your other clue that you had spoken about it before....

The perfect answer for both was stumbled upon in the pages of this very forum. Just put into the FCF search "cairn" and selected username "Dormouse" and up popped these posts.

.
One of which was this.....bullseye! Two for the price of one!

On the same (windy) day out we went over the Cairn O' Mount to Banchory and then along the South Deeside road on to Auchenblae. Here are a flavour of the "high" spots.

I sneaked an electric car in!

This beautiful church is in Drumtochty Glen.

This is the real top of the Cairn not the car park viewpoint.

See. All the bits were there for the finding, except the name of the church.

Now, time to add another Question. The first picture in the trio above was taken in a Village but what link does it have to a) Queen Victoria and b) a Prime Minister.
Two answers please.
