Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Ah, the car in question for number 1, you would normally associate with a particular European country, but that example was manufactured in a different European country, the number 2 is indeed British.
I have already given the hint that both cars have been discussed in recent weeks on the FCF, number 2 pretty recently.
Regards Neil

I'll revisit my convoluted clues...mickthemaverick wrote: 06 May 2021, 18:19 is the first from Lancia built in Spain and the second from the ill fated Rover Group?
So Number 1 is normally a French built car, but the example I found is on sale at Auction in May but was manufactured in another european Country....hence possibly the particular clocks used.
The second predates the Rover Group by some time and was assembled in Britain, and has featured on the FCF, and is coming up for auction in May....

Two very simple clues here Mick, and anyone else. Let's nail themmickthemaverick wrote: 06 May 2021, 17:44 Guessing here, is the first Italian? and the second pre 70's British?
Clock 1 What car is it
Micks anecdote of the vehiclemickthemaverick wrote: 23 Apr 2021, 17:38 My aforementioned brother-in-law found that out the hard way. When he bought the car it was delivered and dropped off round the back of the pub which my ex father-in-law ran. The first thing he did when he got in it was reverse into a stack of beer crates, much to the amusement of those of us that were having a beer in the garden at the time!!

Dormouses comment yesterday on the car in question, resulting in a bit of Painting by Mick

I would like to know where you got the photo of the Smith's speedo with KPH/MPH. All of the Metropolitans I have ever seen only had MPH gauges - ever the LHD ones. Is the Renault 4 you list a Portugese one or an OMV Katrca?

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Not Streetband, and two possible answers I find out now . The one on the card is not the Euro Chart hit no one will have heard of, "an unapologetically dancy anthem" from 2020, but the one most well known to the teletubbies and other such performers.bobins wrote: 21 May 2021, 21:04 Not specifically the next line, but am I on the right track ?
