Not the carpet, but the sound deadening material.

Space is not such a problem... I've changed a cylinder head gasket on the side of the road outside a house before now ;)

That may be true but where's the fun in owning such a car as a VW or an Audi

They are dull, boring and expensive. Xantias are none of those ;)

In the UK springs break very frequently on many different cars. It's happened to my 207...

The poor quality of the roads in the UK are blamed. If ever a country needed hydro-pneumatic suspension in the 21st century it's the UK...

Our roads have to be seen to be believed

Some roads are just a collection of potholes held together by bits of random tarmac

Somebody I used to know would comment (when travelling down a bad road) that the road had been "freshly ploughed again!".

Springs seem to be consumable items these days, like oil and filters :(
Glad I don't have any, although my last broken spring was on a Renault 14 around 25 years ago.

That's just silly. Dual-mass flywheels are the very work of the devil

Just came back from a citroen dealership. They told me that the whole dosseur valve needs to be changed (which i suspect - i yhink they wanna make me buy the whole valve instead of just rubber cap). They told me that the price for the valve is around 200 euro if i order now (could be more if i order later). Whats the price for this valve in your countries? Xantias are rare here so its hard to find used one.

That's rubbish Dusan

Maybe someone can point you to where you can order the cap, perhaps from the UK, and have it shipped to you..
