Wind it ul as much as you can and then wire brush the bottom threads, clean out all the built up gunk, drop of grease on the threads, should help when you wind kt off, you should also be able to get a set a maul wrenches on the shaft just under the slotted top, helps when you are trying to wind the last few threads!
