Inititlisation : Window motor with safety auto-reverse :
Close the front door (Otherwise it is not possible to close

What does this mean?

I'm not sure, maybe it means that the door needs to be closed for the window ecu to be initialised. Complicated stuff this French electrics. :(

I mean the first part with window motor ...

It means that the window is designed so as to stop and move down if anything is trapped in it, a child's fingers for example. It's called an anti pinch safety feature.

If that fails you could dismantle the control and clean the contacts with Isopropanol or a good electrical contact cleaner - not WD40!

The door needs to be closed I think for it to be reset. I have a vague recollection of a window doing the same thing until I closed the door and followed the BSI reset as described.
why?

I had this on my mk1 rear door you need to disconnect the harness going into the door just as lt reaches the top and if there is any gap pull it up the rest of the way and then do as sticky says hold up for 10 15 secs and then press down and hold for 10 15 secs

Dani, the procedure that Gibbo refers to is to reinitialise the window mechanism and is done when replacing a motor usually. I'll try to simplify it a little more:
  • What you need to do is close the door
  • Then use the manual method of holding the window switch 'up' with your finger pulling it. If it stops, keep pulling up holding the switch (don't use Auto, where you hold it and let go). Keep holding the switch up manually, until the window reaches the top.
  • When it reaches the top, hold the button for a few seconds and let go.
  • Next, press the window switch DOWN in AUTO (Press and let go). The windows should lower all the way.
  • Next Raise the Window (Lift the window Switch up and let go - Auto Mode).
That is how you reinitialise the window mechanism on the X7. Hopefully this might make a little more sense - as the procedures don't give much detail as usual! :-D

I can't do that. When I'm trying to do it th window goes down automatically. Check this video for a better explanation/demo:

Ok, I can see when you keep pressing the button to raise the window - keep holding the button - don't let go. When it gets to the top keep it pressed and listen very carefully and you might hear a slight click sound - that is the initialisation. Then let go. If you keep pressing and letting go you are using the auto function.

If I keep holding the button to rise the window I get the same result.

That's the thing guys, I can't keep pressing up for a sec more because the windows goes down automatically

Ok, let's go back to the beginning - what have you actually done? - I wasn't too sure from your description as you mentioned replacing the 'crane'? The system may be too far out of the the allowed parameters - depending on what you have changed.

So, I've replaced the old crane with one from another door I had. The first video I've posted is right after I manage to put in place the replacement crane.

Isn't possible to fix this with Lexia? I have an acquaintance with Lexia.

Sorry, what do you mean 'crane'? I think it's getting lost in translation? Do you mean window regulator?

I think the ts has replaced the whole window (lifting) mechanism, hence the translation "crane"...
