I'm glad of that - thought I'd completely lost the plot on that one

I love my chillies as hot as possible Steve so give them to me ;)

I eat no end of them; almost every meal I cook has chillies in them :D

They're seriously good for you...

See OnTV thread for a very good programme from Nadiya Hussein where she visited Scotland, and amongst other things visited a working mill and sampled their chilli bread which looked great. We visited it on holiday last year so a bit more interest there for us. Also the "foraged" curry was excellent.

...back to dash cams....

I can't seem to embed the video in my post so here is a link.

Now if I didn't have this dashcam it would have cost me thousands as this guy tried to say it was my fault and my claims company said roundabouts and lane change crashes are hard to prove so end up going 50/50.

My advice is to get a dashcam. If you can afford to get one professionally fitted then you don't need to worry about wires. I leave mine in the car all the time as if I get a bump, the camera starts to record.

My son is an apprentice light vehicle technician in his first year. The first thing they do when they get a car in is disconnect the dash cam. Your friendly banter with your colleague could get you in bother when the recipient gets his car back.

I've seen that scenario in your video a thousand times. I always do a 'Marty Feldman' in these situations:
MF.PNG
Left eye on the road ahead and right eye at 90 degrees watching these idiots that don't keep in their lanes. I have front and rear Cams too just in case!

To embed Youtube videos, use the "Full Editor & Preview" option for the 'post a reply' function. Above the reply box you'll see, on the right hand end of the various posting options, a 'Youtube' button. Click the button and it'll give you "" in the text box. Look at the URL for your Youtube video, you'll see there's some random characters somehwere near the end: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=lmHUUXweR3I&ab_channel=GaryGordon". Copy and paste those characters into the middle of the to give you.....
youtube code
youtube code
That should embed the Youtube video.

Thanks Marc.

I trimmed the video as to protect his numberplate from showing. It took him 5 seconds to stop, luckily it wasn't a bad accident but still costly. I did stop but when I seen him continue to drive I thought that I better go after him.

BTW I only sent them the clip of him acutely hitting me. The bit of video with me driving along the road beforehand has no bearing on the crash. Some insurance company might want more but his paid out as soon as they seen it.
