I should have checked this forum months ago!
I have exactly the same problem on my 125,000km C5 (2014), but due to a scarcity of skilled C5 mechanics in my city I've had no diagnosis.
This discussion has has helped me focus on a few possibilities so I can now discuss more intelligently as I seek an appropriate mechanic.
PS: I too feel the suspension may be a bit high, but this was dismissed by the last two mechanics. Perhaps I should insist on a reset, as suggested here. I'll report back if I have any luck!
