Back to the rally subject, we have a proper one :) here it being a forest. (Sorry about using the Skoda dealer link.

https://www.wyedeanstages.co.uk/

They changed the date to November but it used to run in Jan/Feb, if you google for the 2012 videos it's in the ice and snow.

Just strip all the luxuries out of it (including ABS and airbags, much better a sporty 'wheel!), stick some rubber mats down over the floorpan & a couple of suede seats, flock the dash & that's the interior sorted. Now the engine/drivetrain, 1400 8v/BE3 small discs all round and 14" (white) steelies with logo centre caps. Exterior, easy- pulled arches, mesh behind the grilles, mudflaps, small spoiler, paint the lot white & include a light pod and you're done... Oh, forgot to add "go faster" stripes in French national colours. Factory options, full or half roll cage, 5 point harnesses, plumbed in extinguisher, rear "seats" AKA 2 planks covered in 1" foam and suede... Job done, and the closer to a 106 Rallye it turned out the better :D

At the moment i'm not too sure i'd want to place a WRC tag to the C3....it's not exactly the best car out there and general concensus is Citroen have got it so wrong with this car re: suspension, bit of a handful for all who drive it and rumours were about that even Management/back room staff were going
currently '06 C5 2.0 HDi auto estate Tip run and France trekker - well should be!! occupied currently by '10 Superb DSG 170 elegance- whistles and bells that work

The C3 name just doesn't have the 'cred' for a racing car. They would need to give it a new name - something gutsy like 'Broyeur de Route' or 'La Déchiqueteuse' :-D

:rofl2: I was thinking more 'The Shredder' for the French translation, but Duck Smith works too!

Hence my reference to Shredded Duck, which I imagine could actually be achieved by shoving old Donald (Duck, NOT Trump, although the latter is worth trying too!) down the turbine inlet as it sits on the 2-step...
