..and another former family fleet member from the Grey stable on Grey Day.

A very nice looking car, and a Cosworth Engine under the bonnet. This was after the workman like beasts of my childhood and teenage, when my dad moved into totally inappropriate over powered for his needs transport. Very nice car and on trips out and about he would usually get me to drive. I did like the colour and the look too,

Its a picture of a photograph so quality isn't great. I'll not put up a wheresthisthen? but will edit it in once I have worked out myself where it is.
Not sure if anyone will get the car
right away

After Grey, popular with buyers but largely unpopular with pundits, another pair of Cinderella colours, Brown and Silver

Bright sunlight doesn't make for a decent colour rendition with the camera, but you get the gist. The Volvo in particular caught my eye for the colour, the Citroen more just because it was an old-ish Citroen not seen that often now, in pretty decent order.

I find that shade of brown very acceptable Neil :) Silver suits some cars better than others... Many 90s Citroens looked quite OK in silver.

Here's my candidate for favourite colour, or certainly, most pleasant shade I've seen one of these in:

Lovely old thing. Currently a couple of grand which seems cheap. Not raving about the black leather though.

I think these are ripe for an electric conversion, the Tesla motor able to meet the original big V8's rating of "sufficient" :-D

This was a rather striking charging chum today, both in colour and look.

Yes, some opinions are entrenched but perusing Zel's Gallery of a recent car show, there were a few interesting examples of beige at its best! Open mind time! Comments are all from Zel :-D Three onerous clicks here to view or go and have a look at Zel's full gallery here (only one click required much less effort!)

Car Number 1
Including an 1800GT. Which does the odd thing of having the sportier trimmings while ALSO being beige...and I love it for that.

...they are a design which can pull off beige pretty well I reckon too.

This may not be Beige but it looks it
Car Number 3
"a cracking looking car"
look out for the random locomotive in the background!

That locomotive is a replica built by the Wolverton Works apprentices long ago and for several years it was displayed outside Central Milton Keynes railway station and then when the station forecourt was remodelled some years ago it was moved to the museum.

One might argue that beige is an exceptionally faded version of this wonderful colour, now for someone who loves both the colour and the car this may prove difficult to resist considering the history!! You'll need to click here :-D
