Those metallic golds and bronzes were the most difficult to paint match after damage, always a touch out.

This is a nice page on Stag Colours on a site put together by the hardwork of a gentleman called Andy Simons. The front page with a bit of info on Andy is here
The chart here is one of those where an image of the car in the named colours is provided by clicking on the colour name.
http://www.stagbytriumph.co.uk/triumph/index.html (just click on Colours and Trim)

The Stag at the garage will be one of these colours most likely

Might not be a factory standard colour....This example is in A Rover colour Kingfisher Blue well found by VIA Retro.

Via Retro no longer actively post updates, but an interesting site, and plenty of decent articles

Ah, kingfisher blue - whilst growing up I remember a neighbour had a Metro in that colour, a "Kensington" ?? - it looked sooooo very ordinary at the time, yet now every time I see something repainted in Kingfisher blue I'm always struck by "that's a cracking colour!"

If picking a vehicle on colour alone it wouldn't be black, or white, or anything in-between. I at the moment own 3 vehicles, two are silver and one is grey! All what I would consider as in-betweens lol

Not had any black cars but the GS was white and the easiest to keep clean.
Last one and current one are/were red. Only cleaned the current one twice in the time I have had it, once in March and again last week.

Watching 'The Antiques Road Trip' yesterday they were using one of these for transport, that colour was certainly a good choice by Morris.
