I brush painted several Vauxhall Victors and the Rolls Royce with Valspar, the Victors in yellow with white roofs, the Rolls in burgundy.
One of my young customers bought the paint off me and painted his Escort van using a paint roller.

I painted my Reliant with Berger Magicote which my Dad swore by for all jobs. If I remember the colour was Spring Lilac and it looked great when done!! This stolen image gives you an idea of the shape and colour:

In those days the paint was a very popular DIYers choice being non drip and one coat, here is a 1972 advertisement for it:

Nowadays it would seem that the Berger name has moved to the Caribbean and you can find out all about it here.

Nothing wrong with that as long as the correct roller sleeve is used and a brush used to lay it off. Better in some respects as it is a lot faster and avoids potential 'tide marks'.

and from the transient e-bay where occasionally old tins of paint are offered for sale, today Sunday 18th April in the year 2023, the FCF bags a tin of "repaint" to preserve for the internet enquiries of future generations.

Two Vehicles got the shutter clicks in this category today, although the French one proved interesting enough to provoke a shutter click, while not hitting the favourite category for me.
