Favourite colours for cars

Following on from Maurice's "Mallard" link on POTD this morning, I discover that Mallard Green is indeed a colour which was used on Citroens, and possibly some other manufacturers vehicles.

Back in 2010 on the FCF member "Diabolical" started a thread thus...

I'm thinking of respraying my CX to what I think is Mallard Green.
I have seen a Xantia estate in my area a few times thats a luvly green I'm guessing thats what it is.
Can somebody out post a pic if they have a Mallard Green Cit?

Well come on then FCF Faithful Class of 2023...let's have a mallard green cit pic,. No spoonfeeding from me, the challenge has been laid down...

Maybe the "Mallard" was a colloquial name but not an official colour. One person identified the official code as KRK (vert libellule) but that translates as Dragonfly Green thus

This is my third Xantia in KRK so must be my favourite colour car .... I love the translucent look when they are wet

I was looking at a vid from one of the lots at Anglia Car Auctions described as a "rare modified V8 Triumph TR7 Grinnall" and clicked on one the clickbait suggestions at the end of it! I thought that Zodiac was a very nice two-tone from that first Pic pale blue and with White down the side. I think it would look great as a proper two-tone in those colours rather than its actual pale blue all round

I just had a wade through the Mathewsons catalogue Neil and I have to say I don't like this new format where they intersperse the cars with the memorabilia. There is a fair range of colours on display and I have to say my favourite wasn't a citroen:

I usually select only the vehicles by checking the "vehicles" box on the side. I like a "sort by make" but Mathewsons don't offer that as an option. I prefer the ACA presentation of lots, although their videos aren't the best.

A little more ordinary Mark II Escort in Yellow got the Falcon Shutter click at Innerleithen in 2022. You don't see them very often now.
