Similarly, another (rather humourous) manufacturers advert (can't find it online at the mo) demonstrates it's automatic pedestrian-collision-avoidance.
I envisage kids, like those that think it's funny to push pedestrian crossing buttons just for the fun of it, realising they can run in front of these cars and bring traffic to a standstill without fear of getting killed.

Then again, here's a darwinian award nominee.....

And here's a very good advert for Volvo's truck's system that actually worked as intended!!

I will say I have only experienced self-parking once, in bencowell's Hyundai Genesis and it coped extremely well. I was impressed anyway :)

In the middle of grand designs,,,quite a rarity...an electric car advert

"Smart...from £159/month" no other information/features promoted except it is "Fun"

In the middle of "Bake-Off" no less....

Don't say the marvellous Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance is actually trying to sell electric cars now and investing in a bit of TV advertising

Yes an advert for the new Leaf!

Anyone come across a Jaguar I-Pace Advert. Not made in UK of course Austria (Magna Steyr in Graz) at the moment.

Looks like Audi have got in first and want to sell some E-Trons in the UK. Meanwhile the UK arm of Tata's JLR flounders, blaming Brexit and a sales meltdown in China and the US, and not quite realising that the writing is on the wall for diesel powered cars.

Electric Car adverts gathering pace? While the X-factor is waning and not exactly half-time in the Superbowl, Smart managed to fork out to promote their electric offering in one of the ad-breaks. Nice to see some manufacturers starting trying to sell electric cars :-D

..and while vast amounts of money spent on advertising with slick videos on "Social Media", or TV/Radio you can't beat a bit of free-ish Dinosaur advertising by getting a story into print in a community paper from the Scottish Borders. Especially if you get a pic of an aconite Zoe in too!

At least Volkswagen are trying to sell their e-golf.....advert on Channel 5 today.

Adverts aren't what they used to be though............no selling the benefits here, the car only appears in the last 5 seconds and the tag line is.......the Golf....is Electric........the 100% Electric e-Golf.

I would mark the advert as 0 out of 10 where 10 out of 10 would be the annoying yuppie adverts from the 80's for the *Renault 25! with Joanne and David!

*Renault 25!.....I've hidden the Renault 25 Advert in this spoiler...

Watching the Cricket Highlights for the second time on Channel5 catch up two electric car adverts popped up.

VW with their ID advert and the message
"Its time for a power shift its time to plug in"
"Its time for electric cars for the people"
"ID Volkswagen Just Electric"

The other one was a corny advert for the KIA Niro featureing...........Robert Di Niro

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
