Re: Electric Cars:what's available?
Apologies if you've seen this, but I had to post this here as there is more than a hint of traditional Citroenesque about this - reminiscent of the GS / CX or even the SM.
I just wonder how robust those solar panels are and what that would cost to replace if it got a chip - especially the bonnet ones.
As he says, one thing it ain't - cheap at $250k

Re: Electric Cars:what's available?
Steve posted something up back in 2019, but that was a first look and Bobby Llewellyn did the video. So more than welcome on the thread, Marc. EV's should look like slippery shapes, with spats over the wheels, and not like the BMW heavy brick, and the ubiquitous SUV style. You get used to Robert Llewellyn on Fully Charged, but inevitably as it has grown he cant do it all himself, so the channel uses other presenters some of which I find are hard workGiveMeABreak wrote: ↑04 Jul 2022, 15:51 Apologies if you've seen this, but I had to post this here as there is more than a hint of traditional Citroenesque about this - reminiscent of the GS / CX or even the SM.

There was a rec. for the Tesla Plaid by Supercar Blondie, who can also be hard work at times.
Unfortunately presented by her husband, who was seriously hard work, also abandoned.

She doesn't review cars, but Helen Czerski who does some more science-ey stuff for the channel is an absolute gem!

What's more depressing is that there are people out there that think it looks good

That simply cannot be very aerodynamic. It's like a brick on wheels.

Re: Electric Cars:what's available?
On the subject of presenters I think if I were running the show I'd insist they all sit on their hands when presenting, can't stand all that talking with the hands stuff.

It's the same vehicle modified by the Gas Monkey lot.

Re: Electric Cars:what's available?
Not a lot in it but the right hand one was never intended to be anything other than practical at a reasonable cost, therefore that on is the better one.
