They cheated, it looks like it's slightly downhill!
Also given that the twizzy only weighs 450Kg and the Model X weighs 2400Kg and the trailer probably 500Kg-1000Kg that would have been one hell of a balancing act to have a neutral weight on the twizzy's tow ball with a conventional trailer.
Seriously though, it does demonstrate the torque of electric motors at low speeds and the fact that it is direct drive with no clutch to slip - the twizzy is a mere 13kW and can barely manage 50mph yet it can get a model X on a trailer rolling. It makes the 47kW of my Ion and a top speed of 80mph look positively powerful.
