They are useful little things though if your Tesla Model X breaks down...

They cheated, it looks like it's slightly downhill!

Also given that the twizzy only weighs 450Kg and the Model X weighs 2400Kg and the trailer probably 500Kg-1000Kg that would have been one hell of a balancing act to have a neutral weight on the twizzy's tow ball with a conventional trailer.

Seriously though, it does demonstrate the torque of electric motors at low speeds and the fact that it is direct drive with no clutch to slip - the twizzy is a mere 13kW and can barely manage 50mph yet it can get a model X on a trailer rolling. It makes the 47kW of my Ion and a top speed of 80mph look positively powerful.

Funny you should say car, because I don't consider the twizzy to be a car. For a start it only seats two, is not water proof, and the doors and not-water-proof windows are both optional extras! :rofl2:

I'd call it a four wheeled electric vehicle, not a car. In France it's classified as a "heavy quadracycle"...

Interesting point, As an electric Quad it would make sense for its size, much more quad than car,

Never seen one but sounds like an ideal car for me... I like small cars - smaller the better ;)

If you go though Brockenhurst in the New Forest (heading towards Lymington) you should see a couple. There is, I believe, somebody who hires them out there.

I will look out next weekend James...

I'll be running Brockenhurst parkrun next Saturday and having a weekend break at the caravan by the seaside :)

Yes, I know it's winter but I love the seaside in winter :)

Reading the reports coming out regarding Tesla anyone waiting delivery is likely to be waiting a lot longer than they thought.

Bloomberg Finance says "Tesla is teaching vehicle makers the art of spin regarding EVs." and they'll all now at it with little likelihood of fulfilling the promises they're making.

Yes, it all down to the cost of having to redo so much paintwork due to people vomiting all over them due to their extreme ugliness and horrendously evil appearance...
