Dropping and collecting daughter from Cats Protection League, saw that their fleet of Peugeot vans were all electric.

Apart from that, the livery is awful, looks like they have been thoroughly splashed with mud.

First original picture of a VW ID Buzz on the thread.

Might as well make it memorable

A pair of Green Flash fakes

Both Hybrids, both have exhaust pipes and are not elligible to display a green flash on the registration number plate. Trivial yes but why bother.

I watched an American lass on Robert Llewelin's podcast yesterday, she said they should "Stop lying about hybrids, they're gasoline/petrol cars."

Ah yes i almost agree .… but … not all Hybrids are equal … agreed, a PHEV does still have a combustion engine but when used as intended is much better for the planet than a 'self charging' Hybrid will/can ever be!…and that can make a PHEV an acceptable stepping stone to a BEV.
She should have said "Stop lying about self-charging Hybrids…"

Spotted on today's shopping trip.
Decent looking car for a change, rather than the squashed busses most seem to be.

Also spotted a BMW 640, also a sleek looking car.
And being sensibly driven :yikes:

BYD have reached Northumberland too. Service and Sales at Shiremoor and set to become a familiar sight.

Spooted their smaller one the BYD Atto the other day.

To paraphrase Captain Mainwaring...

"Well gone Gibbo I was wondering who would be the first to spot that one" :-D

Is Shiremoor Northumberland? Never thought about it, just a hop, skip and a jump from here, used to be up there all the time at the scrapyards, long gone now, my mate lives in a house on what was one of the best scrapyard sites.

In the traditional sense Steve and the historic Counrty, ignoring the of machinations Local Government and the former County and current Metropolitan Boroughs.

No when you are halfway under the Tyne the tiles tell if you are in Nothumberland or Durham or indeed have a foot in both :-D
