A silent Toyota Hybrid, a Mini and an electric Quasquai, wasn't aware there was such a thing other than the similar looking uglything. This had an e-somethingorother badge on the back.

Like the Toyota self-charging hybrid its energy comes from two sources petrol and petrol, and you can't plug it in.

I am pleased that this simple little thread has had about 80,000 views and over 2000 replies.
They are of course now a daily sight, and the models available expand all the time.

Something new today.....A Porsche Taycan and a Chip Van, nice juxtaposition in the image.

You can't help thinking that some manufacturers are missing the whole point of going electric. Surely the motivation was to reduce our consumption of energy in general and fossil fuels in particular. It is a well proven fact that the best way to reduce the energy needed to propel a vehicle is simply to reduce the mass of the vehicle and its load so surely it is time to make cars smaller, lighter and more efficient rather than simply electrify some of the existing mammoths out there? :?
