Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
A Toyota Avensis? estate.
Just glided up the street, driven by the man who has been inspecting and marking all the trees that need attention (die-back & other disease).
It was parked outside mine for several hours yesterday and I didn't realise it was electric. No markings on it as he is a subcontracter to Gentoo. An arborist it would seem.

The only fully electric estate anywhere is the MG5
The Toyota Avensis Estate was available as a "self -charging" hybrid.
There is a New Toyota Corolla Estate Hybrid which is also "self charging" which will whisper along at start off speeds until the ICE kicks in.

^ Yes, a miserable fail.
I had a snoop up the street and it is a Kia Ceeee'd
No visible exhaust pipes and a silent as the grave, puts some of the real electrics to shame.

A Kia Highways Management thing, a Leaf and the Amazon Prime electric, parked next to me where I was shoving some plants in the ground.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
A huge SUV thing that I think was a Mercedes and a big white van, both 'making progress' through a busy roundabout so no proper details. Green flash was all that gave them away.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
A KIA EV6 in "dark". Abundant as muck.
Regards Neil
PS
No photo of today's spot so I thought I would see if I could transform the red one into black with a bit of manipulation
Chose "Negative" on the effects tab.....which produced this striking image in a colour KIA haven't even considered!

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
On the M40 today on my way home from Bob's I saw my first Mustang EV in the flesh. One of the less ugly SUV EV's in my opinion.
I have a video on the dash cam which I will try and sort out tomorrow but in the meantime here's a stock freeze from Ford's website video:

Here is the rather poor focus picture from the Dashcam yesterday:
