First up
A corsa-e with L-plates
Bye bye all this set the revs, clutch to the biting point nonsense, and kangarooing and stalling, and or being in the "wrong gear" .

Second up
Jaguar's I-Pace. Yes it really should be the e-pace but they had already used that up on the ICE version.

Nissan battery powered van.
DSCF3601.JPG
With the bonus that the driver was a very tall and elegant slim blonde woman.
Hopefully here to give the hard word to someone down the street fly-tipping out the back.
DSCF3580.JPG
This heap grows daily. Three times the council have removed it but a couple of blokes in the van on Tuesday refused to handle it.
The council will take stuff like this away and only charge a tenner for it. Some folks are just too stupid and now will have to pay for removal and a fine for fly-tipping.
As almost everyone here has a car, we take our own bulky rubbish to the recycling place, it is only a couple of miles away. For those who don't have cars, a neighbour will usually help if asked.

A VW van, size large.
An unidentifiable white brick, only the green flash gave it away, passed too quickly to see what it could have been.

And an ID4

Rubbish photo, anybody's guess what the camera thought it was focusing on.

A grey Tesla...and a blue Corsa. On the whole the blue Corsa would suit me better if I had a choice between the 2 much nicer colour :-D

On a very hot day, standing out in the car park this orange corsa. Wonder what the shade is called, not quite burnt orange.

I haven't seen an iPace yet.
Prius crept sneakily past earlier.

mickthemaverick wrote: 15 May 2022, 00:49 Another day of multiple spots of the usual culprits that I see but another first for me within the crop. A Fiat 500 with a green flash, I'm not sure what they actually call it but it was the originall 500 size, not that horrible giant version that came out a few years ago! :-D

One like this:

Image
Not many claims for spotting the FIAT 500 e, indeed on a quick search Mick's seems to be the only one on the thread,

I could have supplied a picture of a rather nice colour bluey coloured one 22 reg with the green flash. Problem was the owner standing at the side of it talking on his mobile phone. No chance for a subtle click of the shutter.

Red Lexus was out again and a new Black 22 reg Jaguar I Pace confirming my suspicions that they are as common as muck.

So no original pic from me but close. 50 points for the first original on the road or in the carpark pic of a Fiat 500 e.

Of course the most important feature of an electric car is what it sounds like.
Click on that link and you can push the buttons to play the sounds that are the auditory experience of the New 500 designed by the creative Italian spirit.

Of course, as with most Car manufacturers, the website is a complete dog's breakfast of illogical navigation and flow, you have to page down, swipe or whatever to get to the bit where you can play the sounds.

PS the video gets a thumbs up from me, one of the better ones selected by chance, decent content and very well presented.

No shutter clicks but a red MG ZS EV, and a turquoise-ey VW ID3.

All things bright and in the eye of the beholder.

On the way back from getting the MOT yesterday called in at Tesco to top up the charge, for about five minutes I was alone then these all piled in.
