Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Plenty today many Leafs, 1 Tesla Model 3 in White, and 1 Tesla Model 3 in Black with the vegetable slicer wheels.
And this thing here. But what is is it has a bage on the back saying "eco electric" one of those totally meaningless brandings. It was definitely a plug in, but is it a hybrid or is it the full 100% electric KIA e-Niro.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Check the front. The full BEV e-Niro has a blanked out grill at the level of the charging plug, while the hybrid has a normal grill. If it's the same car from the picture in the other thread it's the BEV.NewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑22 Jul 2020, 18:39Plenty today many Leafs, 1 Tesla Model 3 in White, and 1 Tesla Model 3 in Black with the vegetable slicer wheels.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Same one Simon. I thought they would have labelled it up E-Niro or Niro EV , which had me wondering if it was some kind of hybrid so thanks for identifying it for what it is. Some time ago I put all of the meaningless badging into my personal room 101. I am afraid "Eco-Electric" joins them in 101 for me.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
White tesla model 3, a range of colourful leafs....well white, grey and red!, and the first manual dash-cam capture of a proper Hyundai Ionic in blue ie the one that says "electric" (as opposed to plug in hybrid, or the one identified as just "hybrid" which I presume is "self-charging" a la Toyota).
...and yes Mick that is Whitley Bay ......hope its a bit less damp in September

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
In a carpark with about 150 cars in it until this pulled in there was only one EV, a little red leaf with silver ears
and a Model 3 later on at the charge point

Saw a nice Enfield 8000 today. A rare spot worth quite a bit in the I-Spy book

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
I don't know if it's still the case, but the little Enfield held the record for the quickest street legal BEV... albeit in slightly modified form

10.1 second quarter mile (2nd video) is pretty damn quick. Faster than a top spec Tesla Model S.

I did think that must have been an April fools stunt, but plenty you tube evidence to back it up!bobins wrote: ↑26 Jul 2020, 21:46I don't know if it's still the case, but the little Enfield held the record for the quickest street legal BEV... albeit in slightly modified form![]()

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
It's such a shame they didn't come off the production line in that state of 'tune'. Life would have been much more exciting if they had
