Back to the weekly on the road Tesla Model 3 spot this time in Red. Didn't notice whether it had the nice or awful wheels.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
The weekly Model 3 Spot for this week is what I would describe as a grey model 3, probably 20 reg although didnt pick that up.
Tesla have an odd concept of what colour silver is. The Midnight Metallic Silver which is what it most likely was, is as grey as grey can be.
Saw a far nicer coloured Leaf....it was exactly the same as mine

Definitely a better choice of colours in a solitary leaf:

I saw the Kia a few days ago, and the Taxi today (on charge, as you can see) at Frimley Park Hospital

Red. I was in the inside lane, turning off at Washington-Birtley services. He took the huff when I passed him - he was doing 55 in the middle lane, shot off like a rocket, passed a dozen cars and dropped back into the centre lane and 55 again. Inner lane clear for miles.NewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑14 Jul 2020, 17:16Colour Steve?
Here's a pair of “Leading Environmentally-friendly Affordable Family cars” spotted when out and about today.

Do you think the former Vorsprung durch Technik and ultimate driving machine brigade are buying Tesla's now?
Another first spot out on a dog walk, a demonstrator new Vauxhall Corsa-e in blue. Its no slouch, for those who pay any attention to 0-60 times.....
No original pictures but they are about. See link

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
I really couldn't sat Neil. I used to see loads of them but for the past year I rarely do. Since March I have hardly been out in the car. It is back at mine now as my son is on holiday, had to go to daughter's for a bit of plumbing moonlighting.NewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑14 Jul 2020, 20:17Do you think the former Vorsprung durch Technik and ultimate driving machine brigade are buying Tesla's now?
May see more tomorrow, going to look at a couple of Mazda 6s. The C5 will be recycled as bean tins shortly.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
Lovely cars the Mazda 6's Steve, I would still have mine had a previous owner not beached it at some point and cracked both inner sills which I did not detect when I bought it. Sadly the tin worm had got too much of a hold by the next MOT 12 months later and it was cheaper to buy my current C5 than repair the Mazda. Having said that I have definitely come up smiling with this one!!

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
The opposite is true here, will be well over a grand to shove it through the MOT.mickthemaverick wrote: ↑14 Jul 2020, 22:18Lovely cars the Mazda 6's Steve, I would still have mine had a previous owner not beached it at some point and cracked both inner sills which I did not detect when I bought it. Looked at lots of options, would like a Volvo but they are, along with most others, very pricey currently.
One of the cheapest options was a Jaguar XF

Always liked the Xedos 9. Very pretty car.
