Ok, lots of good info. Thanks! So the BX or Xantia struts would fit straight up? Excuse my novice'ness but could I not just fit some shorter springs? I do love the idea of being able to raise and lower the back end on hydro struts tho!!

Given that the springs are horizontal I can't see how that would work &, if it did, it would be difficult to work out the relationship between spring length & ride hight.

There's a firm that specialises in these beams which advertises in Fast French Car (or some such title) - they'd be the people to talk to.
