Your DRLs are at the bottom, where the bodywork meets in the picture and are probably not enabled - a Lexia can enable them, if there is no option to turn them on via the left hand steering wheel (wheel button) in the lighting menu.
Boom! DRL wasn't selected in the lighting menu and neither was guide me home lights [emoji3]

Ok so now I'd like all the bulbs the same colour and LEDs of poss?

Well done, another thing off the to do list!

You can't really legally replace the headlight bulbs with LEDs as the fittment of the headlight is not designed to work with them and won't be legal (MOT failure). The best solution you can hope for is a brighter 'e' approved brilliance bulb that has a crisper whiter light output sold in Halfrauds and other retailers. These can output a longer light beam in some cases depending on the type.

The DRLS shown above are fine. It's replacing the headlight bulbs he's asking about Sticky, referred to in the pictures on the previous page.

Those are aftermarket LEDs and should be an MOT / police fail as you say Sticky. If you zoom in on the close up you can see quite clearly now that it is an aftermarket LED cob which aren't road legal.

Ok, these are the bulb types and their locations in the picture below. So that particular one is in the sidelamp position. Now normally, on the Mark II C5 for example, the side lamp was in a separate compartment and sat behind an off white coloured plastic.
On the Halogen version of the X7 (Hogger's car), it sits in the same compartment as the H7 bulb and is not screened. So the LED is not going to be shielded at all and at night is very likely going to be a dazzler!

If the sidelight was self contained behind an opaque lens, then an after market LED might be acceptable, so long as it wasn't too bright, as the light would be scattered and semi-blocked out. The one you have currently fitted Ben is not shielded and an on-coming driver will likely be distracted.

Generally, you need to be Mr Fantastic, have twiglet fingers and the skin of a crocodile! I have Xenons, so not as bad as there are less lights, so you should be fine. The DRLs (HP24W) are another matter as access to these is underneath the headlamp units, hence dealer recommended - but the other bulbs on your car should be ok with a bit patience! A lot of modern cars require bumper partially or fully off to replace bulbs these days. I'm sure some X7 halogen owners here will have done the job themselves though, as I can't see a Citroen Dealer fitting non-approved bulbs (as in your sidelight picture), so should be accessible. Do you have your manual?

The car is going into my local garage next Wednesday for a full service. I'd like to just be able to give them a loads of new bulbs that all match and are white legal!

As stated, there can be some unwanted effects when driving - toughened and laminated screens included. Some upmarket car windscreens and rear-view mirrors are themselves polarised to combat bounce-glare.
It's actually a common misconception that some windscreens are polarised, I used to think it were the case as when you rotate a polaroid looking at a windscreen often the opacity seems to change. It's actually because the reflected light from the windscreen is already polarised naturally and hence why the effect is only noticed from the outside of the car.

The lenses I am talking about, drive wear lenses, have a very mild polaroid and a two colour tint that is photochromic (gets darker in sunlight). They are said to reduce glare at night as well as in the daytime as the tint colour filters out the wavelengths either side of green light which cause the most problem at night. They are also very mildly polarised, I'm not sure to what extent, which should further help. Wearing a pair of proper polaroids at night would just be crazy, they are a daytime lens. If anyone has tried a set I would be very interested to hear how well they work against HIDs and Foglights at night.

Legal brighter bulbs:
H7 (You have one for Dipped Beam and one for your Bend Lighting (I wouldn't bother with replacing the bend lighting one unless it has blown, as these only come on at a junction or very low speeds when the steering wheel is turning left or right)
http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/h7-55w ... &end=front

H1
http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/h1-55w ... &end=front

Side Lamp (W5W)
http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/501-W5 ... &end=front

Plenty of choice - just make sure you don't select any off road types or coloured bulbs. If you go onto the details for each bulb, there is a 'Techy Stuff' section and these will show if they are road legal or not.

I think he is referring to his sidelights.
Although they are not road legal and you can face an MOT failure I've replaced the W5W from my C5 with Philips LED bulbs. Their color is quite similar to the H7 Philips Xtreme that I have in my dipped beam, they look inconspicuous and they give out an even glow. You wouldn't be able to see very clearly that it is not a filament one.
1.jpg
Although they are marked as Warm White, I quite like them as I do not want that bluish tint usually associated with LEDs. I prefer the pure white color.

As you can see, there is a dome covering the lap wich helps the light to blend in and makes the bulb more discrete.
2.jpg
You can see the filament sidelight...
3.jpg
...and the LED one on.
4.jpg
Here you can see how much the filament bulb (on the right) can influence the look of the car, even with whiter dipped beam bulbs.
5.jpg
6.jpg

I'll try to get a picture during daylight to see how it looks to the naked eye.

Cheers.
