I could probably be persuaded to part with one, tbh...

Re: wurlycorner's silver s2 CX Gti Turbo - troublesome sod...
all this talk of Petrol.... anyone got any suggestions for 'losing' a litre of Petrol?
I was over-enthusiastic with the Two Stroke oil for my Generator and its now starting & running lovely with an accurate 50:1 Mix, but I've a litre of maybe 20:1 that I syphoned out of it to get rid of somehow.
I don't have a petrol car and the amount of use the Genny goes it'll be kicking around for a decade or more if I 'water it down' with neat petrol & feed to the Genny over a period of time.

Bosch pump on your 405 right? Should be no problem adding a litre of premix to the tank as long as it's over half full. Or, just keep it and use as a parts wash for gubbins. Strong premix 2t is great for soaking rusty/seized stuff in as well as getting through grime.

Thanks Dan, but no, its a RotoDiesel; parts washing / easing fluid though... now that's a good idea. Thx.

Don't use petrol for parts washing... It's dangerous both from a fire risk and a health risk...
Best to give it to a friend with a petrol car...

Hey did this ever get fixed? Have got the exact same problem on a series 2, struggling to find a correct wiring diagram?
