I'd be up for doing the R500 complete with camping.
Me and a few friends went up to Scotland after the ICCCR in 2012 in my XM. In all over the 2 weeks I clocked up 2,500 miles. Saying that, after the ICCCR I needed to nip back down to Stafford from Harrogate to pick up a couple of people before heading north. It was a really memorable trip and every day the scenery was just like in the films and car adverts. The thing that added to it, was that many other people from the ICCCR appeared to have the same idea as us so there were Tractions, XMs, 2CVs, you name it parked up and driving around.

Kind of but not intentionally!! Back in the 70's we did a coastal drive from Berwick to Barrow in an MK 1 Cortina GT which was great fun and took us nearly 5 days if I remember correctly. It was our pre cursor to Marshalling on the RAC rally in Wales and as a result we had to put a new gearbox in the car on our return, hobbling home with only 1st and 3rd to play with!! Happy days!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

If you prefer pictures to words....look you dont need one of those expensive long range TESLA things to do the North Coast 500, you can do it in a 24kWh Nissan Leaf

We do a good bit of it every year, including this one I hope. We usually stay around lairg way but we do the north coast, Wick and John O Groats. We have friends there and at Tain.
