No... Just as before. Nothing changed.
I'm considering accelerator pedal replacement but as the accelerator pedal is expensive one to replace –
is there a way to check accelerator pedal functionality prior replacement?
Is there an “Idle Air Control Valve” in that engine?
Thanks

Sounds like common o2 sensor issue. U really need to read live data when the fault occurs or record a snap shot with your scan tool or diagbox, and compare the two results from when it's playing up and when it doesn't. It's a Common fault to all cars with this engine both c5 or 307 especially those fitted with the AL4 auto transmission

Are U also getting a mixture regulation fault code. As it's usually there as well

Re: C5 2L RFJ Engine hesitation
Bumping this old thread.
I have a similar issue with my car (see signature). When pushing the gas pedal at low rpms (idle or almost idle) the engine hesitates, the problem is barely noticeable in neutral when revving the engine but gets exaggerated when driving where the engine hesitates and sometimes dies. However it idles just fine and there is no issue when pushing the gas pedal at middle to high rpms. After running LEXIA at my Citroen dealership with error codes regarding fuel trim, I replaced the lambda sensor and the car significantly improved, but the issue is still there. I have not run LEXIA after the lamba was replaced.
I'm thinking what the next step should be. What do you think about exchanging the MAP-sensor or is there something else I should try?
Last but not least I should also say that the LEXIA had an error code on the gas pedal aswell, but it indicated to be related to the cruise controls speed limiting function (wich is not working), so I don't think the gas pedal is causing the problem with the hesitating engine.
