Alasdair, I like the rectangular one but not keen on the marque names adjacent to the logos... The Logos speak for themselves I think...

Re: Forum promotional cards / stickers
The rear sticker isn't doing it for me. Something along the lines of the tax disc, maybe stacking all four logos horizontally with just the website address directly underneath would be my 'suggestion'. That would make a good matching set. I'm not loving the 'help, advice...' topline and dont think its needed. But heyho ...

What's modern today is 'old hat' in two or three years time. Surely we don't want fresh designs in two or three years time?van ordinaire wrote:I' I do wonder if using the current manufacturers' logos give the impression it's for moderns.

I agree! Anyone who is into French cars immediately recognises the logos. Just something else to read IMO.CitroJim wrote:The Logos speak for themselves I think...

Would the tax disc be a 'clingy' also?
Just wondering what would be on the reverse side ie show INSIDE the car?
I was kinda hoping it would be able to fit into a tax disc holder but if it's possibly going to be a clingy then that would need fixing direct to the windscreen, yes?

Here's a swatch with the K4 Design and a replication to the rectangular sticker for comparison:

I know it's not the same as printing onto a plastic sticker - but I'm going to print these off tomorrow on the laser and put them on my C5, then I'll take a few pics and post them here - I know it will be a little different when they are printed properly - but might give an indication of seeing how they look on a tinted window for example (now having visions of back to the drawing board

Yes, they just 'suck' onto the windscreen and can be easily peeled of and re-used. Sometimes you just dampen them a little but it works quite well without having all the adhesive to scrape off!xantiamanic wrote:Would the tax disc be a 'clingy' also?

Clingy ones will be the best.

So long as they are clingy badges, and not clingy women. Can't stand those!

Will it fit inside a tax disc holder though?daviemck2006 wrote:Clingy ones will be the best.

I'm not that keen on just sticking it to the windscreen UNLESS it has a suitable interior face, ie chevrons or something similar.
My tax disc holder has 'CITROEN' and chevrons, so a visuall on the inside, that's why i'd want to insert the 'clingy' into it if not then a 'sticky' could mount to the current tax disc that's in there and give a reasonable look.
And ... the rear sticker is way oversized for me, i'd prefer a half height relative to the tax disc with a one-liner web address printed underneath, layout is fine otherwise.
Let's see what others think but i personally would think that rectangular one is a bit clunky

Re: Forum promotional cards / stickers
Re. the rectangular dimensions - I did that at the suggested 12cm x 4cm - and the Tax Disk at 8.5cm x 8.5cm. So, as I don't actually have any of my old tax discs, can somebody measure up the diameter please? I suppose the actual size of the Tax Disc sticker MAY be governed by the supplier's material - I guess that's something the Admin Team will be able to clarify, unless they can produce these at a custom size - but then cost will likely be a factor in all this. They may be just a standard size though..

Re: Forum promotional cards / stickers
Can I just ask a question about the rectangular one?
If it's meant for the rear window, then surely it ought to be wide and not very high, e.g. 5cm x 30-40cm, and not the deep rectangle above.

Stick a clingy sticker on the screen then stick your tax disc holder over it.xantiamanic wrote:Will it fit inside a tax disc holder though?daviemck2006 wrote:Clingy ones will be the best.
