Re: Time for a change.......
From factory they have a strange spring arrangement behind the brake pedal to give it a bit of travel. Some people replace it with a length of pipe to get the old style "on off" citroen brakes.
Isnt all Dextron red? Correct me if im wrong

Dextron 2 is bright cherry red. And its quite a drawn out process changing it as you can't empty the box all in one go.

I could tell the difference more or less straight away when I started changing mine on the Bx. Changes were smarter and at lower revs.

Re: Time for a change.......
Considering a change myself, I have had to spend money on my 04 Dispatch recently, and lost two days work when it was off the road, been looking at vans , but nothing really is available for my budget.
Transit is too big,as is the Vivaro really, Berlingo too small,Transporter too expensive, so really only left with a newer Dispatch/Expert/Scudo.
Plenty of 1,6 hid available, but the 2 litre is like hen teeth, unless I spend upwards of £5K, which Im not prepared to do,a £5k van won't make me an extra 5 grand a year.I have had conflicting reports about the new shape, the 1.6 is supposed to be a troublesome engine, compared to the 2 litre. What say you lot? Anyone have any experience?
PS sorry for thread hijack o p

Re: Time for a change.......
No worries highjacker !
I dont know anything about vans but
I would ignore most coments about issues on models of cars, fact is people wont tell you how good they because they expect that anyway, but when something goes wrong they all shout about it and it gets put all over the net, we all do this when were mad something dont work and want advice ! Ill hold my hand up to that.
Out of the thousands of vans sold im sure really not many would suffer any major issues , unless of course it was made by rover ........ but that is another matter !
Just find something that suits you and fits your budget and be done .
