Hi Simon, sorry I have ment the "P1**" codes are vehicle bound. The Peugeot and Citroen both report this fault as: Permanent fault P1728. This then means : Can Data Bus, Torque signal - malfunction. The book says that possible faults could be: Wiring, APP sensor, ECM.
Some other cars like Ford reports this code fault to be too much slip in gbox.
The U1** codes are also vehicle bound.

Can you or someone send me a photo of their Citroen C5 V6 2004 ZF gearbox TCM (transmission control unit) as well as a Peugot 406 with ZF 4HP20 gearbox's TCM label?
