If you have registered the complaint well before the warranty runs out should it then still not be covered for treatment afterwards.

My 2013 C5 Touer was serviced in March and in June started to display "Oil Level Invalid" on switching on. Was told by Citroen specialist, not main dealer that there was a modified dipstick that might cure it. It did not.Diagnostic said to "Reflash BCM". This was sone at main Citroen dealer but did not cure fault. Was told that fault caused by draining oil when it was above 40° C and could be cured by draining oil at correct temp and refilling to correct level. Will post again with the result.

It's not the dipstick which should be modified, it's the dipstick tube. Check to see what has been done. They say that the oil level should then be "regularised" after the tube modification - i.e. check the level is now reading correct on the stick and either drain some off or add some depending on what's needed. Then the fault code needs to be read and cleared - was that done on yours?

The Tube #

If the physical design of the tube is faulty and needs to be changed.....why would this not effect every car with the same engine ?

Dunno. The sheet that I glimpsed said that this was a random fault and the best that the service manager could come up with was that is was some kind of capillary action causing the fault. As I said before the level sensor is on the opposite side to the dipstick so that makes even less sense.

I gave them my possible causes and he said "maybe" to the design fault and agreed that h would see what else he could find out. They can't fit me in the workshop this week so that means it'll be September before they can take it back in. I'm getting worried I'll run out of warranty first.
Well the car went back in today for further investigatory work on the radio. As expected there had been no improvement over the summer from the new aerial/amplifier unit and replacement radio.

I phoned the dealer up last week and they had no further ideas and suggested I phone Citroen Service, which I did. They in turn said that it wasn't really anything they could do and I needed to go back to my dealer who should contact their service manager and see what direction to investigate. Anyway, in it went today.

I phoned this afternoon and they said that they had ordered two amplifiers for the FM radio. these apparently live near to the rear windows. These have a printed aerial on each for FM1 and FM2. I said to them that they had told me those were for the satnav and they said that had been mistaken. The satnav actually runs from the roof aerial - which they had discovered when they disconnected the roof aerial and had lost all the satellites!

This makes a lot of sense to me. I had originally asked if there were any other amplifiers or combiners and they had said no. Now it seems I was right. Hope to have the amplifiers in a couple of days.

Isnt there a third Antenna that does MW & LW freq's as well though?

I really hope your issues are resolved but if they occur again within 12months you should be covered as its a pre existing condition of the car :)

That thought occurred to me as well. I suspect that the roof aerial covers those.

Thanks, so do I!

One thing about parts replaced under warranty is that even if they're brand new they don't come with a warranty of their own but merely inherit the remainder of the previous item's warranty.
