No, but I'll be doing a trip to Wales next year to see a young man who has just been born into a world of old Citroens ;)

I've been near the one in Ceredigion on many occasions when Robyn was in Uni at Aberystwyth. I can combine that one with a visit to the Vale of Rheidol Railway ;)

I have a trip to Jersey planned. I've just moved to near Southampton and Dad works in Jersey.

Now that is very encouraging :-D . Looks like despite the "What do you know about Norfolk thread?" the Brancaster Box remains a difficult nut to crack. The Dunmail Rise Box is on the tourist road past some of the Lake District's most visited locations for me the easiest of the lot surprised I haven't had occasion to knock that one off yet. Once a few more fall, the obsession to complete the task will spread. :-D

I'm a bit dissapointed I missed the Gwynedd one. I shall attempt to visit it with the Xantia next time I'm in Wales even if Jim beats me to it.

Now all those pesky leaves are off the trees, I've gone back to Halcon Corner in Taunton to have another go at trying to work out where the person taking the photo was standing, the location of the signs and a more accurate idea of where the AA box was.

No, 4th or 5th generation Eastern European Steve..

I can't be a Druid; I hate Stonehenge so much I'll only be happy when it's used as hardcore for an A303 dual carriage way through where it currently stands...

This comes from 40 years of suffering traffic jams past the infernal and frankly useless structure...

It's only a pile of old stones. What's the interest in that I ask?

Thanks to the efforts of Davie and Chris only 8 boxes remain.

So we have one in Devon, one a short scenic detour off the M6 in Cumbria, three in deepest Wales, two in Scotland, and what will ultimately be the coup de grace I would think.....one in Jersey.

If you can contribute towards the challenge as you drive out and about please do.

The one in the Lakes at Dunmail rise near Grasmere should have gone by now at my own hands, but looks like I haven't been to that part of the Lakes for over 2 years now. Can hardly believe it as I would normally class myself as a regular Lakes visitor.
The 8 remaining boxes in the Challenge.

First horizontal AA box I've seen Neil... I guess you had to lay down to make the call? At least you could have a rest from the exhaustion brought on by having broken down and struggled to the box ;)
