Oh, to clarify, the act of removing a DPF permanently on a road car is an offence; using the car afterwards falls on the driver committing a separate offence.

Thanks for the clarification R, that's one of the reasons why if I read in post that somebody is intending to do a DPF removal, I always try and make them aware of it. Once the new DPF-specific MOT tests come in (and I think it will), I can see all the moaning from those that have had them removed and a mad scramble at the breakers!
